The calendar shows a month of your writing at a glance: each day you wrote displays a thumbnail of that day's page. It's the closest thing to flipping through your notebook — except every page opens, zooms, and answers.
Opening it
On the dashboard, tap the activity heatmap card (the small month grid). The calendar opens on the current month.
Reading the grid

Moving between months
Use the arrows, or swipe left/right on a phone. The calendar spans from your first note's month to the current month.
Filling an empty day
Tapping a beige day opens a new note with Date Written already set to that day. This is the natural way to backfill: wrote something on Tuesday but only photographing it Friday? Tap Tuesday. Your calendar, streaks, and stats all follow the date written, so the page lands where it belongs.
The share button
The share icon at the top links each month to its Monthly Artifact — the shareable summary image of that month. For the current month it will tell you the artifact isn't ready yet (months settle after they end).
Coming back
Opening a note from the calendar and pressing back returns you to the same month, with a gentle ring marking the day you just visited. Swiping through notes from the calendar follows calendar order, left to right.
