By accessing or using SandDune AI (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you do not have permission to access the Service.

2. Description of Service

SandDune AI provides AI-powered transcription and question-answering services for handwritten notes. The Service includes:

• AI-powered transcription of handwritten text
• AI-powered question-answering with citations to source notes
• Digital storage of notes and transcriptions
• Organization and search functionality
• Access to both free and premium features

3. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account with accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. SandDune AI cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.

4. Subscription and Payments

We offer both free and paid subscription plans. By selecting a paid subscription, you agree to pay all fees in accordance with the pricing associated with the subscription plan you choose. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis.

5. Content Ownership & Privacy

You retain all rights to your content. By uploading content to SandDune AI, you grant us a license to store, process, and analyze your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We handle all user data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. Usage Limitations

Your account is subject to usage limitations based on your subscription tier. These limitations apply to both transcription services and question-answering features. Please refer to our Pricing Page for current usage limits. Free tier accounts and Pro tier accounts have specific monthly limits that are strictly enforced, and attempts to circumvent them may result in account suspension.

7. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall SandDune AI, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
